All of our full roof tear-offs come with our standard warranty, which includes a five-year workmanship warranty and a limited life-time warranty on materials. All other work, including partial re-roofs come with a one-year workmanship warranty and a limited life-time warranty on materials.

Standard Warranty
Owens Corning is the industry leader for all roofing materials.
The Standard warranty is a material defect warranty. It covers the cost of the shingles and the labor to install the shingles 100% for the first 10 years. After year 10 it becomes a material only warranty (labor is no longer covered) and the material is now depreciating in value at 2% per year. At year 40 and on the material is now worth 20% of the value of the shingles. Warranty is transferable one time within the first 10 years.
Premium Warranty
The Preferred Protection Warranty covers 100% of the cost for Material, labor, tear off and disposal for a full 50 years. In addition it also includes a 10 year workmanship warranty. This means that if the material is installed incorrectly causing it to fail the purchaser of the roof is still covered by the Owens Corning warranty. This warranty is transferable one time within the first 20 years.
